Creality Ender-3 V3 SE FDM 3D Printer

Easy to construct and easy to use 3D printer. Excellent choice for anyone starting out with 3D printing. Printer uses standard SD card slot to load files, or can be plugged in directly to computer via micro USB port (cable not included), I use the handy SD card reader that comes with it to transfer files from my computer to the card, the slicing software is also pretty intuitive to use and allows for full customization of models and printing settings. Highly recommended. The only weird thing about this was the allen keys they give you to assemble the printer make it difficult to rotate the screws nicely... they should be shorter. Wow a fantastic machine, one of the better printers I have used. Hard working and runs like a trooper. The Ender-3 V3 SE and I have become the best of mates and services me well. A good price and well worth the money, Have talked 2 other people into purchasing the printer, easy to run and operate even for first timers. Having used the 3D printer at my local makerspace I grabbed this to continue printing at home.
Setting up I used the two videos from @Tombof3DPrintedHorrors on YouTube - One for unpacking and assembly including changing some settings, and another for reducing stringing.
I use Ultimaker Cura as a slicer as have not got my head around the Creality software but am looking into how it works.
I exclusively print with eSun PLA+ and have had no problems with plate adhesion, it sticks really well at 60 degrees and easily peels off when cooled. I have a second plate so I can swap out and keep printing while the model cools.

ESun have profile settings on their website which make for really smooth prints but runs quite slow. In saying that I have no problems leaving this printer running all night if it means I have less cleaning up of prints to do.
After a few kilos of filament printed the belts really needed tightening, this is an easy job and the tools are included.
I didn't like the top mount spool holder so have printed a side mount on bearings which works well and I may consider a filament dryer at some stage.

Absolutely love this printer, as a beginner to 3d printing it took a little bit of time to figure out however the printer has been great since figuring it out. This is the second time I have purchased this printer from PBtech now and the quality for the price point is what sold me. The auto leveling has been a game changer for my 3d printing journey and the direct drive extruder makes colour changing filament very simple. Purchased for my son’s 14th birthday. He has printed a variety of models, his favourite cars, presents for birthdays and it’s easy for him to use. YouTube videos are plenty for tips and tricks and it’s a simple set up for beginners to intermediate users - it’s perfect for him! Purchased for my son’s 14th birthday. I've used this printer a few times now and it works great have had a couple of small issues however they've been fixed relatively easily with help from google. Upgraded from an anet A8, and this thing is better in just about every aspect.

Doesn't reach high enough temperatures for filaments like cf nylon, so that is a bit of a downside. But you can get upgrades that allow you to bump up the temperatures. Upgraded from an anet A8, and this thing is better in just about every aspect.
