Purchased brand new in original carton, No damage. Installation and set up was virtually hands free, Had a question for the help desk on how do I obtain a desk top graphic for the scanner and the answer was immediate and easy to follow. Only had the scanner for 8 weeks now and havent really used all its capability but those items Ive used work perfectly.

Scan to e-mail easy, scan to word or photo package easy, scan to PDF easy. Colour or black and white (Grey scale) all ok.There is a bit of time used up while the reader elements heat up each time you scan an item, but its easy to get used to. Very quiet in operation, uses the power from the USB port so you dont need an exta power socket outlet. Cant fathom out why you would want to use it tipped on its side as the advertising suggests as the work you want to scan will fall out, still its a feature that others may need... Good machine and very unobtrusive on my desk..
