The Item was well packaged, and promptly dispatched, My prime reason for this purchase was home security, I liked the compact design and 8 ports of POE with 100/1000bps connection speeds which is more than capable of nice 1080p video and audio, at present I am looking to add 5 external POE capable IP Cameras, the primary reasons for my choice are as follows reductions in overall costs, ease of setup and some future proofing. I will be running my cables to there designated locations, plugging in the cameras and plugging them into the POE switch and plugging this into my server, with this setup you do not have to worry about getting power to...view more
