I’d give this five stars if it were specific to the SP 11 I got it for because the cut outs are not specifically for it as you’ll see from the photos. This leaves the usb c slots more exposed than I prefer and an extra, small hole above the usb ports.

The case has a pen holder at the top you won’t need if you have a type cover that holds the pen but it’s handy to hold the pen on top if you are putting it down but not wanting to open the type cover all the way. I like the way there’s a cover for the kick stand and the kickstand folds up nicely. There’s no fear of the case coming off, it fits the body and kickstand well. There is a handy tab on the kickstand cover to open the kickstand. One of the small design choices that make this a good cover.
I took the hand strap off because I don’t use it and I prefer the back of the case flat. This does leave two open slots on the clear back which will be fine as it will be transported in a padded pocket. It might bug you if small things do bother you.
This case works well with the SP11 type cover. The type cover slots under a tab at the top when closed which holds it well but I could see it wearing that spot on the type cover after a while so I stuck some yellow electricians tape there. To open the type cover, gently push the tab/pen holder a bit backward.
The cover has robust corner bumpers, heavy plastic back and kickstand cover. The stand cover does not interfere with the stand.

I would recommend this case to anyone who travels with their Surface Pro. One star off for the port openings not being specific to the SP11 but otherwise I’m happy.
