Works well to connect two computers to one monitor

I am using it to switch monitor source between my desktop and company laptop. Desktop cable is DP to DP, laptop is USB-C to DP 1.2. Another short DP to DP cable version 1.4 then connects this switch to the monitor. The whole setup works well for me. I have attached the switch to the monitor stand with a bit of blu tack to keep it from sliding around my desk. The USB power cord is plugged into the monitor USB port.

A Bit of False advertising on the box

Seems to be difference between what PBTech states and the packaging.
PBTech - 4k at 120Hz
Packaging - 4k at 144Hz.

Taking a look at the packaging it states it can run 4k at 144hz but it is sadly not the case. Anything higher than 120Hz will give you random bursts of lines of static across your screen.
I have tested this with multiple cables and it all gives the same result.

manufactured ewaste

I ordered two of these devices and only one of them didn't die in the first 2 minutes of use. PBTech support was supportive, but I will be avoiding unitek products in future

Shipping Costs

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
