Internet banking is a great payment option if you do not have a credit card, or would prefer not to add to your credit card balance. When you pay with POLi, the transaction is completed within the security of your bank's online banking service and at no time are your personal banking login details disclosed to POLi. How to use POLi?
You don’t need to make a POLi account - the only login information you’ll need is your regular bank details.

Select the POLi payment option when you checkout.
2. Pay with internet banking
Log into your bank account using POLi. The payment is protected by your bank's authentication and security.
3. Complete Order
POLi automates the payment process and notifies the seller that the payment has been made.

Do I have to register to use POLi?
No. This is one of the great features of POLi payments: no registration, and no additional passwords to remember!
In order to complete a POLi payment, select your bank and login using your Internet Banking credentials. After that simply follow the steps on screen to complete the payment.
Is POLi secure?
When you pay with POLi, you’re paying with your regular bank account. That means the payment is authenticated and protected by your bank. Your confidential information will not be disclosed to any third party, including POLi.
Is POLi approved by my bank?
The POLi payments service is brought to you by POLi Payments Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australia Post and a provider of innovative web-based transaction services and software. POLi is distributed in New Zealand by Merco Limited.
POLi Payments Pty Ltd is not a bank, and does not necessarily have relationships with banks accessible via POLi.
Can I use gift cards, or store credit with POLi?
Currently we do not accept giftcard payments, or store credit if you pay by by POLi.

POLi works seamlessly with all major New Zealand banks. If you bank with ASB, it is recommended that you sign up for the Netcode service, especially if you are planning on making orders over $500.

How does POLi work?
- Select the POLi payment option in the checkout
- Select your bank
- Login using your Internet Banking credentials
- Selects a bank account you wish to pay from
- Confirm and complete the payment
- Once the payment is complete you will be redirected back to the PB Tech website
Is there any cost for using POLi?
There is no cost to make payments using POLi, although your bank may apply fees for electronic funds transfers.
If you are paying with POLi from ANZ and get the "Pay anyone not available"
ANZ recently made some changes and this inadvertently has affected the interaction with POLi.
There is no current work around, and we recommend choosing another payment method.

Please see below steps to quickly fix this issue:
To resolve this you need to update one of your "Online Code Preference Settings"....the details are as follows.
- Log in to your Internet Banking account and select "Your Settings"
- Select "Change Online Code preferences".
- Enter a tick in the "Create a payment to people or companies"
- Save the updated preference setting by clicking on "Change preferences"
You should receive confirmation that you have made this change to your settings, you can then complete your POLi payment as required.
