Instructions:

Great Product

I use this along side a 4TB NAS HDD to provide storage for my Raspberry Pi Plex media server. Been using it for the last few months without any problems at all.

Definitely recommended if you need a way to power a HDD externally.

Unitek Y-1039 Does the job perfectly

Needed to initialize new HDD. The fact that this product is powered made all the difference. Quick and easy to use, Good value for money. No cons with this product.

Superb plug-and-play product for an excellent price

This device works like a charm. Plug-and-play. It supports external 3.5" drives via plug-pack for the 12 volts needed (the cheaper adapter can only be used on devices that can be powered off USB's 5 volts). I used this to replace a 160GB 3.5" hard drive in a desktop with a 1TB 3.5" drive, by cloning the 160GB to the 1TB with AOMEI Backupper, then using AOMEI Partition Assistant to 'stretch' the usable space out to ~1TB. This device is also a boon for backups. And it was delivered very fast.

7 day right of exchange
