I have a Rode-NT USB with a pop filter and this boom arm holds it up very nicely! The mic is pretty hefty and I was skeptical about the strength of the boom arm levers but it works on all the angles I need! I had previously purchased a cheap boom arm and Im using the Blue Yeti microphone. The damn thing kept literally falling down as it couldn't hold the weight. Well I just got my Rode Boom arm yesterday and while I was moaning it was a lot of money, Im sold.

I love that I can move it to wherever I want it and it just stays there! I love that I can swing it in and out with ease so its never in the way. It keeps the cord so tidy and its as sturdy as a rock. It literally can't fall down.

When I ordered it, the product wasn't in stock. I was told it would be around 10 days, but honestly, inside 5 days it turned up. Great quality as you'd expect from a Rode product. Heavy duty, supports my Rode NT USB mic easily. A little slight imperfection on the finish but not a biggie. Works well, no problems. When i first got it i thought i had a defective one since it was always in the extended position but then i shortly realized that it just needed the mic for counter balance. Has some valcro cable straps which is good and a run on the middle joint for the cable to sit nicely in. Built quality is great, owned for over a year now. Overall 10/10. Works well, no problems. Works great with the Rode Podcaster mic. It's well balanced for the Rode Podcaster. Would recommend.

If anything could be improved it would be making it possible to thread a USB cable through the stand (it has room for a cable). Bought the arm quite a few months back to help with streaming, as old one kept falling over due to the tiny leg stands they have, found the boom arm excellent to use with ease, but one thing is the tension arm to swing in and out isnt the best, as our first one failed, replaced quickly by the store with a smile. maybe a slightly better design for the tension part needed. All in all, great item. As the title says, awesome arm for any mic. Make sure you got the mic attached with some weight on it other wise it pops back up. Was scratching my head for a while on why it kept popping back up during the initial test. Won't work without weight on it. As the title says, awesome arm for any mic.
