Purchased this to stop the annoying wired android auto and its super easy to set up and now each time I get in the car it connects automatically, even better than when it was wired. Great little gadget to do away from a wired connection to android auto.

Very hassle-free setup. Connecting when the car turns on works flawlessly thus far.

Posting this review as its confirmation I wish I saw before I bought it. Confirm it worked seamlessly with my aftermarket Sony XAV-AX100. Feel like there is no difference or delay compared to connecting the phone via wired connection. Reconnects without issue on start up. Would recommend. The team at PBtech understood my issue (unreliable connectivity of my phone with my car's infotainment system) and suggested the unit as a solution. Works as advertised and very simple to setup. Now I have a fully functional wireless android auto connection. No more cables and no more glitches. A very handy dongle to have, this makes charging my phone easier as the USB port for my head unit has a lower output than my standalone port.

Only thing to watch for is the port staying active while the car is off - nothing to do with the dongle of course, but disconnecting is a pain if it stays active while in parked at home. Plugged it into to my Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and within a few seconds had wireless connection to Android Auto from a Samsung.
No sign of any delay, clipping or lag, and does exactly the job it was supposed to.
On-line ordering was fast, efficient and smooth.
Courier did the right thing when I was out and didn't leave the parcel as signature required.

This works great, I have a Samsung S24+ and Mitsubishi Outlander - connects quickly without delay. There is the odd occasion where it doesn't connect but that appears to be minimal.
