Cat 6a cable was unable to connect at 1Gbps on my 1Gb router. Consistently connected at 100Mbps, even after ensuring no power cables were in the way. Interestingly enough the cable did connect at 1 Gbps over a direct computer connection, but that doesn't really work for the purpose I bought the cable.

Tried a similar cat 6a 20m cable I bought at the same time on the same router and same ports and no issues, connected at 1Gbps.
Suspect cable connectors on 40m cable are not up to standard. Length should not be an issue with cat 6a. Will be a return. Cat 6a cable was unable to connect at 1Gbps on my 1Gb router.
