So far, so good — I bought this Belkin lightning data cable a week ago to replace another iPad Pro charging cable — yet again. They all split and die eventually. This will be my fourth, especially as I regularly use my iPad, running it off the charger ( instead of letting the battery run down ) and swapping between horizontal and vertical viewing as I watch YT shorts, email, TV shows and gaming. This puts a lot of stress on the cable at the input junction. The Belkin has a much longer molded sleeve on the lightning input end which looks like it will take the constant motion better that others; the braided cable looks tough and I’ve put a simple loop knot just at the start to take some of the “pull” as I use it. I bought an Otterbox cable too, and have that and another charger at the other end of the house. Comparing the two and seeing which lasts best!

They are a good size for us as we have devices lined up and charging next to each other so there isn't a mass of cords when they're short. Very happy with this cable. The braiding makes it way less flimsy than other models, and works well in my car so that I can connect to apple car play. Would always recommend a quality cable like this over cheap gas station ones etc (and they aren't even that cheap!). Very happy with this cable. Product works really well, I am really pleased with this purchase. Arrived quickly too. I have tried a few different cables for my devices over the years, but this brand - Belkin - seems to be the best in terms of being effective as well as cost-effective. So, I’m happy. Yep, found the lightning/USB cable in the box exactly as described. It transfers data and charges the phone. I am just happy that what was advertised on the box was in fact inside. Was a huge relief!
