Bought to connect a PC with a 3070ti graphics card (using the HDMI 2.1 port) to a Sony KD-65X85L 4k HDR QLED TV using HDMI 3 and 4 (the HDMI 2.1 ports). Using Windows to play games such as ACC works reliably at 4k120hz only at YCbCr 4:2:0 (i.e. SDR) color output. Using Nvidia control panel, when the PC is set to RGB output (10 bit but also 8bit plus dithering), the output will change to the new setting (and the colors look great) but within a matter of seconds or minutes the screen glitches will start. Running 4k120hz YCbCr 4:2:0 8bit seemingly it never glitches. 4k120hz YCbCr 4:2:0 10bit will glitch eventually.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if the TV or GPU didn't support 4k120hz RGB 10-bit color it seems that it wouldn't work at all. The other thing that points to the cable is that depending on what the screen is showing the glitches are more or less likely. Most glitches the screen goes black for a couple seconds then comes back on, sometimes there are color artifacts before the screen goes black. Sometimes the glitches go back to back and the TV will reset. Seems like a cable bandwidth issue to me.

Apologies to PB Tech if the cable isn't my issue :) But I plan to return it and try a different cable.
