This cable is capable of DSC (display stream compression) allows for display to run at 4K 240Hz. Recently I bought the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 which supports up to 4k and 240Hz simutaneously. You will need a 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 feature supported cable to actually get 4K 240Hz. I pair my display with the new m3 max MacBook Pro, which natively come with a HDMI2.1 ports that supports output up to 8K60Hz/4K240Hz.

The experience is perfect, which no bands on the display at 240Hz (which a lots of people report having problem with).
