I got this to connect my ancient monitor to my new PC, and it works. Definitely measure how long you need the cord to be, it was only just long enough for my purposes because I forgot to take into account how the cable bends to fit into the monitor. I'd been having trouble with my monitor for some time as it kept blanking out and back in again, ready to replace the monitor I went to my local PB Tech in Tauranga to see what options were available. The technician there was fabulous and suggested changing the cable before committing to a new monitor - how right he was! Replaced cable and problem solved.
