Decided to try faster cable as I have not upgraded Home Work PC for 4 years. Data transfer speeds slightly improved will test further to make a decision as to whether I replace all cables. What can i say? It's a SATA cable. I purchased one to upgrade an Elitedesk 8200 with an SSD.
The connectors are tough enough, and the latching is handy when routing the cable through a SFF case. As far as I can tell it works as expected, however the interface on the Motherboard is only SATA2 (3.0Gbs). SSD is not worried about the drop in speed so cable is running well. What can i say?
