The old cord was damaged, and literally exploded in my hands, blowing the plug off the end of the cord. Thankfully the monitor wasn't on at the time. Was a bit of a hail Mary buying this but it was cheap enough that it was worth a shot. It works and has been powering the Monitor for the last month or so. Needed a replacement power cable for my Samsung TV that had been in storage (cable had been lost).
Purchased this one and it did exactly what it was supposed to.
