Works well to connect my laptop to the dock.
Transfers data to multiple displays, network connection, laptop charging all in one cable. - a regular USB-C charging cable won't do all this!
2m length is also handy as it gives you more flexibility on your setup without being short and putting pressure on the connectors.

The main reason I bought this cable is because it removes all the confusion about the USB 3.1 types and what cable to buy, because with this Thunderbolt 3 Cable I can run all my USB-C Devices, like my Display Monitors, Huion Kamvas Pro 16 (4k) Plus Graphics Pen Display, Samsung Smart Phone and Tablet and plugs straight in to the back of my Computer's Motherboard, an ASUS Rampage 6 Extreme and also my RTX2080 NVIDIA video card which both have the USB-C ports, so now I never have to worry about which cable to buy in future.

Very pleased. Using this cable as a single power and video cable between my MacBook Pro and a Dell Ultrasharp 43". Cable feels solid with thick insulation but with a soft rubber feel that allows the cable to fall relaxed. Very pleased.
