I have been quite impressed at how well this CPU performs whilst gaming, it has been paired with a 6600XT which feels like an ideal pairing at 1080P. Awesom CPU can recommend, heaps of processing power. Not so awesome stock CPU cooler. When ever you order AMD cpu also make sure to get an aftermarket CPU cooler as the stock cooler will not cool your CPU properly. Awesom CPU can recommend, heaps of processing power. I bought this CPU to replace an 1800X I had in the Unraid server. Not only is it more powerful, it uses less power from the wall and most importantly, is still available for the AM4 platform. The CPU is great for the price, could be a little cheaper, but its the price of it. The stock cooler is not good however, as it still allows the cpu to reach temps of 96. Not good. Not many people know this, but the 5600 is within margin of error compared to the 5600X, 5700X, 5800X and 5950X when it comes to gaming. Don't believe me? Look at benchmarks. Even though this CPU has 6 cores and 12 threads, that's all you actually need for gaming. If you don't plan on getting the 5800X3D (arguably the fastest AM4 CPU on the market) just get the 5600. You'll save money and it'll perform just as good in games as the other non-X3D variants. Best price to performance CPU on the AM4 platform when it comes to gaming, excluding the 5800X3D. Upgraded from my a ryzen 5 2600 and it was so worth it!

Wow, I am impressed! This processor blows me away, As a result of upgrading from a Ryzen 5 1400 to this processor, my gaming frame rates were doubled or tripled in some games. I can't find one single thing bad about this processor.
