I paired this with a Seagate IronWolf 10TB drive, and it works great! I have it plugged into an Apple Airport Extreme router and use it to back up multiple Macs with Time Machine. The bottleneck is with the Airport Extreme being only USB2.0, but that has nothing to do with this enclosure. I'll probably buy one of these again once the initial 10TB of storage runs out. This is actually my fourth purchase of a 3.5" dock. I find them really useful for using a number of HDDs for external storage purposes. Easy to use - just have to remember to push the little power button when you connect otherwise puzzlement ensues. Great value. This is actually my fourth purchase of a 3.5" dock. Marked down only because it relies entirely on the connection to hold it in place internally. It should have some way to anchor the drive so it can't slip off the slot when in transit as there is room to move and a heavy drive could disengage. Not a biggy since drives tend to not be moving when docked and on. Clip on cover is a little unconvincing when clipped shut too, feels like it could slip off while carrying.
