Unitek Y-3026-AU SB3.0 to Dual SATA HDD Aluminium Docking Station with Offline Clone Function

The Docking station works really well. I used it to clone a Mac HD onto a SSD using the offline clone function. I just plugged in the drives, pushed the button and left it. I took the copied drive, put it into the mac and it worked first time. Now have a mac working with a SSD. The amount of time it saved was worth far more than the price of the device! I thought I had lost valuable info from my hard drives but after watching the video link below and purchasing this item from PBTech.....I recovered valuable photos from drives where the sata board had failed. 2/3 drives responded. I am excited about the having this for plugin drives, 3.5 and 2.5 ssd...as well as maybe recovering any damaged drives. Nice product, well made and sitting on my desk. Great product. At last finding a use for all the old sata drives I had lying round.
Easy to use and works well.

Product worked well the first couple of times... third time, it disconnected off halfway through transferring files from SD card to HDD and corrupted one file which as you can imagine made me see red! Then it wouldn't recognise the hard drive no matter which bay it was in. I thought about sending it back but a friend suggested unplugging it or at least jiggling the cables connections (which were connected properly)... and that worked!
So at this stage it's on final notice... see how we go.
