It works, eventually.
Its a good, price and makes a huge difference over my old hdd which was always stuck at 100% disk usage. Haven't tested the speed but the laptop turns on much faster and rarely freezes now.
It is however a mission to install. PB Tech does not sell the small screw you need to fix it inside a laptop so I had to go to a computer repair shop and ask for one (they happily provided one free of charge which was nice).
Setting up the SSD was also a challenge, it took around 10 hours of copying files, blue screens etc to get it working on my laptop (asus vivobook pro). I think the problem was around having the old and new drives mounted inside t...view more
