Kingston A400 240GB 2.5" SATA3 Internal SSD

I'm using this as affordable extra SSD storage on my desktop. This is primarily being used as a steam library for my large frequently played games, so I don't fill up my NVME SSD. Purchased this during the Cyber Monday Sale. Installed in an old PC that was using an HDD. Made a huge improvement to load speeds. I ordered 2 of these for a system I was putting together, one of which turned out to be faulted with a random freezing issue. The part is cheap and nasty but for it's intended purpose and the price I suppose it's good enough though I would definitely not recommend it as for perhaps an extra $20 you could get a better one from the likes of SanDisk or Crucial. Does exactly what it says it will, no fuss SSD. Threw two into a pair of older notebooks for friends, just update the drivers and enable TRIM, all is well. Standard Kingston quality. I bought this to upgrade my internet browsing PC. Linux Mint installed very quickly and the old system really screams now. Great value and a super-cheap hot-up for any machine that currently relies on a mechanical hard drive. I bought this to upgrade my internet browsing PC. The Kingston 240gb SSD has turned my laptop from a slug into a sprinter, the difference is amazing. Installing it was a scary experience but easy in the end. PB Tech rock. Thank you!
