My new build was not going to have mechanical disks in it. Needed storage, so picked this 1TB drive. Had this for about 1 week, works fine.

Pros:
Good value for 1TB of storage

Cons:
Not the cheapest.

I've been using it over 2 weeks with Ubuntu Linux (18.04) in I7 laptop and it works perfect. I also installed windows 10 on it but i don't really use Windows, so can't tell about apart of the installation when very well.
I'm very happy with the quality and speed it works. I booted my laptop in 9 seconds with the bios config for fast boot.

Free Samsung provided Data Migration Software made it easy to clone my existing HDD onto the SSD but you need an HDD to USB docking station which I already had.
Replacing the HDD hardware with the SSD was straight forward after researching on YouTube.
This SSD has transformed my HP i5 laptop running Windows 10. Previously it had become painfully slow with Task Manager showing the Disk pegged on 100% for long periods of time.
The laptop now boots in 15 seconds and is a pleasure to use.

Now, my freshly reinstalled dual-boot Windows/Linux machine feels brand new! Boot times are now 8 seconds and 6 seconds respectively, and the bottleneck is back with the CPU where it belongs.

My biggest regret -- NOT DOING THIS SOONER.
