Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB M.2 Internal SSD

Saw in M'bd hand book that it was capable of having an M2 installed so I as my 250Gb Samsung SSD C drive was 5 years old decided to upgrade and replace it with a 500 Gb M2. Purchased it on a sale weekend and it was here very promptly. Neighbour and I installed it a few days later. Had a little difficulty initially finding which way it went in however after that was all plain sailing. Data transfer software was excellent and once up and running noticed how quick it was, even compared to the older SSD. Very quick and am very impressed. Not much to say about it, outside of the incredible speeds you can achieve with this mid-tier M.2 Drive from Samsung, it makes for an awesome boot drive which will even blow away people who are used to SATA SSD speeds. Upgraded from a mechanical HDD and have been using it about a month prior to this review. Loads a heavily modded Fallout 4 save in about 12 sec's compared to 45+ sec's on my old mechanical drive and the micro stuttering i was suffering through has all but vanished. Purchased for an existing system that has a SATA M.2 SSD and this leaves it for dust. Used this as a game drive and all stuttering during gaming has gone, load times are hugely decreased. By far the best ssd for every gamer. Load times are near non-existent, and that is only running the card at half speed.

easy to optimise (with Samsung Magician)
perfect for games with a lot of loading screens
