As someone who works in graphic design and photography this just just such an amazing upgrade.

The drive was really easy to install with just a single screw, booting into windows was extremely fast and my PC felt snappy and fast. Game load times were short compared to a normal SSD and even more so with a HDD. Would recommend has boot drive and to hold commonly used programmes and games. My god it is so small it’s hard to believe it’s a 500GB SSD. Used the Samsung cloning software to use it as my boot drive and boots in a few seconds now. Remember to download all the drivers and other software from Samsung’s web site to make it all work. Amazed with the speed really makes a difference across all games and applications. I have installed these drives in 3 PCs as a system drive - even faster than a 2.5" SATA SSD, with no SATA leads or power leads to worry about.

I've also used a pair of them as an SSD cache in my new Synology DiskStation 1019+ NAS (which is designed to take M2 SSD).

M2 SSD drives are not cheap, but if you value speed and a small, convenient form factor, it's the obvious choice. I have installed these drives in 3 PCs as a system drive - even faster than a 2.5" SATA SSD, with no SATA leads or power leads to worry about.
