Samsung 990 Pro 1TB M.2 NVMe Internal SSD

I had to pull my computer apart to get this installed so was a good chance to get all the dust that had built up over the years.
Easy to install - take pictures of all the cables so you know how to put them back.
Drive did not show up untill I dug into the system and assigned a drive letter to the drive.
Do a search on Disk Management if you need to learn about this.

This is my 5th Samsung SSD, and all are still going strong and performing as they did when new - the same can't be said for other SSD brands I've tried!
Unfortunately, performance is effectively identical to my previous 960 EVO, so it's a shame to see that technological improvements have effectively ceased. Seems to work really well as per this range of SSD's reputation. It looks like all the firmware issues with it have been solved and I'm having no problems with its health or destroying itself etc. I was concerned at first with a lot of online reviews saying that it runs extremely hot as I'm running it in a laptop but I've had no issues with temps the Samsung magician software reads that it is constantly in the 40 - 50 degree temp range, it can get as high as 80 degrees when running performance benchmarks which still under the max temperature I believe. The free magician software means I could clone my older 500Gb drive to this 2Tb one and be booting off it in Windows withing a few minutes.
