Great drive. I've also used its 1TB equivalent and the newer 2TB is a little slower to power up. Both have great speed and the shock protection is wonderful insurance. Great drive. Haven't had any issues with it, although my usage is quite minimal. Powers up with just one USB port on my computers. Nice rubbery grip surface on the exterior. I have used this model of drive or its predecessors for many years for off site backups for our business. Their compact size and bullet proof construction make them ideal for this purpose. I once dropped one of these drives onto a concrete floor from nearly 2 metres height and it continues to function satisfactorily (but of course I no longer rely on it as a backup drive) I have used this model of drive or its predecessors for many years for off site backups for our business. Does not copy files over 4 GB unless you change the file format structure initially installed on the system, that is not hard to do, other than that it's a very good performer.
