Very pleased with this drive, which compares well with previous 1 Tb drives I have by WD and Seagate. It's smaller than both, and the case seems more solid, which you can't really evaluate until you have the unit in your hand. It has an indicator LED near the cable connection, as you would hope for but again not able to be confirmed in the online description. Read/write performance is good, and it was quick to partition into two logical drives using Windows 10. Handy to have, I have purchased two at a good price, one for back up. Small and compact doesn't take up much space which is good when traveling. Have not had any issues so far. I would recommend for general storage and backing up files. Also doubles as an external HD for gaming.
