If a storage device is needed, then this product does the trick. I’m not sure how fancy they can get, but this product is light, and small (compared to the older external hard drives). The product connects, and is powered via USB (don’t ask me what type). The one USB cable achieves both of these functions. It appears to be reasonably fast too - I uploaded several hundred gigs on data onto it the first time I used it. I thought it may take many hours, but it did not. So, I’m satisfied with the product and see no reason why I shouldn’t recommend it be purchased by other people.
