WD Elements SE 2TB Portable External HDD - Black

Good little portable drive. The free WD software doesn't detect it if you re-name the drive, but the free DataLifeguard software from WD works a treat with this and other drives. If you don't mind minor hassles like this it is all good.
As a side note the Courier three this package over a 2m high unlocked gate onto the concrete footpath. Its a good job that the packaging by WD and PB Tech were substantial enough for it to survive - that why I wanted drive tools to check the drive!

This hard drive arrived well packaged. I didn't realise how small it was going to be. It's a great size though. Works well and no issues. Reformatted it to work on Mac and pc. Was easy to do. Small, slim, perfect! Nice little hard drive with lots of storage. Comes with some software I have not tried yet.

This product has so much storage room and taking my photos and other files off my computer has made it work so much quicker. Not oo expensive either. The product replaced a large format disk that was failing. This device is USB powered so more efficient and the same capacity in a smaller form factor. Super fast delivery too. Great hardware, but software would not see the drive. Exhausted WD online help, which concluded with, use Windows backup software. So am using Windows Backup software. Disappointing.
