Great for video and photo storage
I bought this to store videos. Works well but I would recommend transferring files to an ssd if you are planning to edit directly from the drive.

Excellent product !
Absolutely no issues with it. copied roughly 3Tb onto it first day.. then deleted half. Very rapid, and no integrity issues at all. Exactly what I expect from WD.

WD Elements SE 2TB Portable External HDD
Compact size which makes it easy to pack for travel, great for backing up media for long term storage. Zero complaints in the months I've used it. You can't go wrong with WD.
Works ok
Works ok as a backup drive on USB 2 front ports but kept dropping out on USB 3 on the rear ports. HP ML310e gen 8 V2 server running windows server 2022 and ReFS. So only 4 stars

Works beautifully out of the box. Lovely and fast for a 2.5. Transfers at 100 MBs average. Always there and connected when plugged in. Plug and play out of the box.
