I am admittedly a digital hoarder with uncountable images, videos, and program files from various projects. And I have always had trouble with space, moving files between my various devices and cloud storages and USB sticks. And trying to decide what can be sacrificed to the rubbish bin. And I never seemed to have enough. I'd always wanted a larger hard drive than my 1Tb one. And after I lost a few months' worth of footage due to a Bitlocker incident (make sure you know your Bitlocker code or lose everything, people!) I finally bit the bullet to my wallet and got this. It is super easy to set up and use. It looks nice. And having this much space is incredible! I have spent the last few weeks transferring files to it. And I have been able to back up my entire OneDrive, store all my movie files, and make an archive for all my photo albums, art projects, and video footage. And I've barely made a dent in the storage space!
This is going to last me a long time before I'll need to get another. SO worth it!

Recently, my old PC started to crash and I realized that I needed to back-up my many files as soon as possible. After browsing through various computer outlets online, I found a perfect fit for my needs at PB Tech (WD Elements SE 2TB Portable External HDD - USB 3.0WD). This external hard drive Is effortless to use - just plug and go. It also has plenty of space left for extra storage and/or backups. I did not realise it will not work straight out of the box if you are with apple. It was not pointed out to me by the sales person at PBTech, nor did he ask if I was on Apple or Windows.
He should have asked me this question and then let me know what would be involved to set it up as I am on apple computer.
To make it worse the set up instructions were missing from inside the box.
I would have preffered to get a Seagate disk as that works straight out of the box when you are on a apple computer.
I would not purchase again.
