This is a great product with no set up required - just straightforward plug and play right from the box! I bought this drive as I didn't have time to format a normal passport drive to Mac format, and it was able to work straight away. Seems reasonably reliable, I've had another one for over 18 months and it works great! I had hopped for a USBc interface to the harddrive case, but it is the standard type of case plug that is quite flimsy. It is not clear in the listing, but this is a 2.5" spinning disk drive, not solid state. At this price I would have thought it was solid state.
