I finally found the most accurate thermometer for my baby!!! I have diff thermometer at home and I struggle to get right temp and our GP advised us to invest in ear thermometer and good thing i followed that advise. Bought this at the same time our 1-year-old was in hospital and it was really helpful to be able to measure temperature accurately and reliably without calling on the nurse every 30 minutes. Definitely worth paying a little bit more over a basic thermometer. I felt a bit apprehensive buying this but this is what plenty of doctors and what our daycare uses. Accurate as expected and it hass a nice design with a holder for the unit as well as the lids.

Pros: Accurate, sleek design, (it will save you a callback trip to your school/daycare or use it proactively :) )
Cons: Expensive (pay for what you get), must buy lids to be able to use it but the are reusable to an extent. I like how a simple quick check gives an accurate temperature.

I think the thermometer is wonderful and easy to use however not being able to use it due to it requiring a cap is sometimes bothersome cause you have to find more.
