Oral-B iO Series 9 Electric Toothbrush with 2 Brush Heads - White Alabaster

The magnetic base should be called a "barely magnetic base", you will need to be careful to place it where knocking the toothbrush won't end up with it in the floor. I managed to find a wall mount that has a guard to prevent it falling off at height. I'm not convinced about how good the 3D tracking is, but I do like that you can remove modes you don't want from the brush. They stupiodly don't tell you which brush head type is in the box, I'll work it out eventually but it wouldn't have killed them to say what they are. I bought this toothbrush based on the good reviews. The price seems high but it only has to prevent one filling or even reduce frequency of trips to the hygienist and it will pay for itself.
Seems robustly built so should last longer than my previous sonic toothbrush.
I though the bluetooth connection to the app would be a gimmick that I didn't use, but it is really good and makes sure I get thorough coverage (which somehow always seems to take longer than the 2 minute 'standard' brush). I have been using the electric toothbrushes for a few years now. I only purchased this one as I lost my last Oral B electric toothbrush while travelling. Hence, I decided to have an upgrade. Extremely easy to use with the LEDs to eli you control pressure, and the timed warnings to change position. Feels nice in the hand and the display is easy to read for battery status. I’ve owned this toothbrush for about six months before and then stupidly lost it when traveling. So to rebuy, PB Tech had the most competitive price. On top, their customer service answered a question I had in a flash and delivery was fast too. Would definitely use PB Tech again. Oh and yes, obviously I would buy this toothbrush again as well. The travel case is ok but I wish it actually charged through a USB plug to be more flexible when traveling rather than a local power plug. With the travel case cord having a power plug, there isn’t any real difference or advantage to the travel case over the normal charger.
So in summary: brilliant toothbrush if you have the $$ to spend. But the app will likely lose its shine for you with time and the improvement in brushing is probably marginal compared to a cheaper model. All up, it was clearly still worth it for me - at a sale price. Should expect to pay no more than half the ridiculous RRP.

I like the different settings due to problems with my teeth and that it charges in under two hours.
The only issue I have is I don’t like the (travel) case as it seems very cheap and I’m almost waiting for the hinge to break as it’s only thin plastic. Also the power adapter and case is larger than my razor. The toothbrush itself is great. Takes a few days to get used to it if not used one before.
