Bought this fan as my previous one broke. Best decision ever. Can be controlled through the app in my phone. And does not make any noise at all, even if it's in its full power. I have a new apartment in Auckland that’s all double glazed and… not allowed a heat pump. It’s an apartment so our windows only open a little and you die in summer. I can’t believe it’s legally allowed… so this fan has actually saved us. It’s got a little bit of noise to it at level 2, but nothing you can sleep through, could probably sleep through level 3 as well but level 1 is actually silent, it’s so good. You can also change the degrees is turns by so we have it at the end of our bed and it just oscillates 30 degrees so just hits both of us, perfectly. Great purchase. It has a very quiet motor, but there is still a noisy fan sound on the full setting (4). There seems to be quite a big jump in fan power/air output at the highest setting (4), compared with settings 1-3.

Got this to replace the multiple cheap fans that have died a quick death.
I have a lot of other Xiaomi products and have always been impressed with the quality and the bang for buck you get & this fan is no different.
