Ninja Foodi AF500 XXXL Flex Drawer 10.4L Mega Zone Air Fryer Black & Silver

I love being able to take the divider out for baking etc. Very easy to clean compared to others which use mesh type trays. Just fill it with hot water and pop a dishwash tablet in then rinse out and scrub after a few minutes.

What I don't love about it:

The crisping tray gaps are too big, chips (even steak cut chips) etc fall through underneath and come out soggy.
The feet don't grip very well and the whole thing moves when I take the tray out. Not a big deal just annoying when trying to slide the tray out sometimes.

No way to turn off "cool" mode, I often like to set it to x amount of time then come back and turn the food over but it's not really possible with this model as it goes into cooling mode for a few minutes before you can start cooking again. Solution is to set a timer or something to come turn the food over rather than setting the cook time on the machine to half time etc.

Overall, I would recommend this to fellow foodies.

We're enjoying being able to utilize the split drawer in order to cook two to three different things at the same time, it's nice to have the food ready to eat as a meal in one sitting as opposed to cooking one thing & then the next & so on.

Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of buying one & hopefully this feeling remains for years to come.

The reason this thing gets mixed reviews online is because the UK version is considerably more powerful than the NZ model. There's no valid reason why Ninja would choose to make it this way that I can thing of. Other than trying to milk the good reviews while selling a cheaper version.
Note that the vertically stacked model in NZ is 2.2kW and is fine. I absolutely love this air fryer. It is the perfect size for a family! I love that I can cook two different things at once to get the kids a quick dinner. My only complaint was that you can’t lift the food out in a basket. it needs to be picked up with tongs but The good outweigh is the bad! Definitely recommend I absolutely love this air fryer. Brought the HOMNJA0009 back in 2023 which was an upgrade to my previous 3.8L Ninja Air Fryer also brought from PB. I tell you now.. if you have any of these and need the space for massive roasts short of a leg of lamb, this will do you well! Amazing product and another winner from Ninja. Since changing to the XXXL flex drawer we have yet to turn on our standard oven. Everything from snack night to Sunday roast goes through this bad boy in half the time!
