These are the best head phones I have ever had, compared with many options available these stood out for the high-end sound, functionality, noise cancelling which was perfect this month when I flew on a noisy plane, very quiet. Highly recommended to purchase these if you just want to spend a little bit extra. I own the original Bose QC35’s that we’re getting a bit old so I upgraded to these NC700’s and I gotta say, they are incredible. They’re not just a minor upgrade from the QC35’s, they’re in another leave both in terms of build quality, noise cancelling, sound quality, features etc. they’re simply fantastic. Clear neutral audio.

Touch controls are easy to use.
Very good noise cancellation for low frequencies like road noise or air plane noise. Forward facing high frequency noises are still audible but that could be by design.
Very Clear audio for calls ]just edging out to the Sony XM4.

The Bose Headphone app is terrible. I am unable to login to the account or sign up. Bose support is not helpful and gives pre determined answers. Clear neutral audio.

The item is as well known as it is great. The price (as happened a few times within the last 3 months) could have been conveyed properly by the customer service representative; e.g in the next 1-2 days there was further drop in price, also, I could have had the other Bose item (colour and specifications) on the same day for the same price (that happened the next day), or waited one day and had it the next day. I did ask the lady about it, but was not given the true information, or was she kept in the dark, too? The item is as well known as it is great. The headphones are pretty comfortable to wear for long periods. They fit snugly over the entire ear. The noise cancellation works well and the sound is good from both the speakers and the microphones. Shame you can't charge them and use them at the same time, but they get enough charge for several hours' use with a fairly short charge. Sound is (as u would expect) v good, and noise cancelling is awesome! Liked being able to adjust the amount of cancelling going on too (using the App).
However two things
1) The womens voice is pretty annoying, and talks over the top of the sound.... so when she (annoyingly) announces your computer isn't found, its long and stops u hearing a call.
2) The bluetooth connection to the computer isnt v good - i "lost" my computer when i put a small document on the laptop (!!!!!), while sitting in front of it! I think i would prefer the "dongle" system using radiofrequency system (or at least the choice of it) Sound is (as u would expect) v good, and noise cancelling is awesome! Sound quality is decent but it's not the reason why you'd buy these. NC seems good and call quality is good - these are why I bought these.
Comfy enough but QC35 is lighter and more comfy.

Worth the price? Not sure - depends on what you are after. I got these over the Sony because of the call quality. I like them overall.

For both office and leisure use I've used Powerbeats Pro, Airpod Pro, Jabra Evolve 75 and Senheiser PXC 550 headphones. I would say that the Bose NC 700 headphones offer the best quality of all I have used so far for both voice calls and music. I use them all day for business calls and was initially skeptical as to whether they would perform as well as those with a boom mike but soon discovered that they outperformed all the others which I have tried including my Jabra Evolve 75's. They are great for videoconferencing; their design looks good and is comfortable to wear for long periods. I initially had a little trouble getting the Bose Music app on iPhone to connect but realized that during the first install it had created two Bluetooth entries because I chose to rename them during installation. Reinstalling the app and leaving the device name as default resolved this issue. I chose the Bose NC 700 over the new Sony wh-1000xm4 after reading comparison reviews on voice call quality. The 4 mike array really does the job well. Like the Sony they are expensive but if you after a device for all day use and want the best call clarity as well excellent audio quality these would be my first choice.
