Xiaomi Redmi Buds 6 Lite True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones - White

I picked these Redmi buds for the value, and value they gave me. the pairing is seamless, the earphones fit nice and snug in my ears and with 3 different eartip sizes being available they should be comfortable for most folk. though i was surprised by how fast the Redmi buds connected compared to my old set, i used to be often spending 30 seconds struggling to get my old Earbuds to connect which is night and day compared to the Redmi buds (though that may vary on iphones.) so now all i do is open the case and the redmi buds 6 lite almost instantly connect to my phone which is a massive win. on the audio front the sound was pretty neutral,...view more I picked these Redmi buds for the value, and value they gave me. the pairing is seamless, the earphones fit nice and snug in my ears and with 3 different eartip sizes being available they should be comfortable for most folk. though i was surprised by how fast the Redmi buds connected compared to my old set, i used to be often spending 30 seconds struggling to get my old Earbuds to connect which is night and day compared to the Redmi buds (though that may vary on iphones.) so now all i do is open the case and the redmi buds 6 lite almost instantly connect to my phone which is a massive win. on the audio front the sound was pretty neutral, while only being a bit v shaped with the 120-250hz mid bass being a bit forward for my preferencs also with a bigger emphasis on treble so the tuning is good for most folk. installing the Xiaomi app was easy with the eq being a run of the mill 8 band equalizer which gets the job done, the noise cancelling was okay with the eartips doing most of the heavy lifting though the transparency mode surprisingly sounds pretty natural to my ears easily being able to hear what people were saying at lower volumes. the layout of the app was pretty simple with all the anc options, gestures, and audio effects being 1 click away in the app homescreen. though i do see the play store raiting being, rather low so it is possible to run into issues with the app, though the only thing that annoyed me about the Xiaomi earbuds app is being required to sign in to update the buds . ok lets get down to the quirks, my main issue being the touch controls are they are quite finicky, if you have larger hands like i do you will likely struggle due to the thin pill shaped gesture bar being rather hard to accurately tap especially when doing 3 tap gestures. battery life is okay lasting 5-6 hours with AAC HQ mode enabled and some eq settings applied with the case i didn't get the advertised 40,+ hours of battery life from the case only hitting around 18 from my experience which is disappointing, but i can forgive the poor case battery life due to the price point, so overall a flawed. but balanced set that is quite good and i would recommend if you need a new set quickly i will give 4 out of 5 stars i hope you found my review useful! ok bye

Purchased these less than 5 month go and they were ok. Sound clarity is good but noise cancelling is terrible and cuts in and out, and the left ear bud has stopped working (common issue with this model look it up). Noise cancellation is poor, didn't work all the time on my recent domestic flight (worked to begin with but got weaker, maybe reached the ANC limit?).
Touch controls are finicky, could never reliably get single touches working. Only press and hold.
Looks, they are so so. Look a bit cheap, but on par for the price.
Sound quality, poor. I had to install the app to get better equaliser options. But even then the quality wasn't pleasant. The quality also suffers more depending on which ANC setting you have....

I lost them recently and can't say I'm too disappointed, aside from the obvious waste of money.
I have cheap wired in ear headphones without ANC that I'd rather use.

First purchase of ear buds of this style. OK sound but not spectacular compared to my Sony MDR-XB50BS set. Could not compare with a $400 set - or could they? Better BT range though which is good.
