I’ve had 4 pairs of Bose Sleep Buds which all failed and were discontinued. The noise cancelling was great so I could use without sound. These obviously don’t have the noise cancelling but the sound options are great and they are so much more comfortable as a side sleeper. Husband has sleep severe apnoea so sound blocking is key! These sleep earbuds by Soundcore are really comfortable to wear (and I'm a side sleeper). I bought these to replace the awesome Bose Sleepbuds, that have now been discontinued. These are so much better in all areas. The options of combining sound effects is a great idea. I need white noise to help sleeping with tinnitus and these have allowed me to layer up my own personal masking noise by combining up to 3 individual sounds from their library. They can be loaded with the sounds you need so that they can be used independently from the phone, so no Bluetooth connection needed when sleeping - reducing EMF exposure. Definitely not noise cancelling but does mask certain sounds. Comfortable in your ear. I bought to help cut out traffic and snoring noise it muffled but did not help sleep.

I bought these headphones impulsively in the middle of the night after yet another struggle with my husband’s loud snoring. I had been using silicone earplugs, but they were uncomfortable. These sleep headphones have made a huge difference.
They’re comfortable to wear, even for side sleeping—as long as your pillow is soft. I fall asleep listening to an audiobook or podcast with the time on and the headphones automatically switch to a sleep sound I downloaded through the app when I fall asleep. There’s a good selection of calming sound options and I use one of the noise masking ones.

You can tap the earbuds to switch between sleep mode and Bluetooth or adjust the volume. The sound quality is fine for spoken word and sleep sounds, though a bit tinny for music—so I wouldn’t use them as my primary music headphones. But for sleep, they’re fantastic.
If you’re a light sleeper or sharing a bed with someone who snores, I highly recommend giving these a try.

I find them more comfortable (and im a side sleeper), battery life is far better and I love the fact that it has Bluetooth so I can listen to an audiobook and then double tap the bud and it moves to my downloaded sleep sound ( a combo of white and red noise for me - it's cool you can layer a few sounds on top of one another) without having to open my eyes. Negatives are that the app is not very user friendly and a bit fiddly to figure out. The charging case is also a bit fiddly - it's a bit hard to get the buds in the right spot for charging, can't do it easily in the dark. The sleep sounds are also possibly not quite as good sound quality as the Bose ones were if you're being picky. It's not a huge issue for me; I don't have them super loud. For me it's about masking outside noises not about blocking them altogether.

Overall, for the price I'm very happy. I don't feel the cons outweigh the pros. Even if Bose sleepbuds were still around I think I'd buy these Soundcore ones again. (Didn't even consider Ozlo as the price is outrageous)
