Was skeptical going into this purchase, but they have turned out really good. Very comfortable after a few days of use and they sound great. Will be getting an AMP/DAC to see where they go from there.
Great first audiophile headphones
These offer an impressively balanced and natural sound profile along with a wide soundstage, it allows each instrument and vocal to be clearly distinguished. The clarity and detail is impressive.
Comfort is a strong suit. The lightweight build, coupled with the non leather ear pads ensures hours of fatigue-free listening—perfect for long sessions. The cups are huge enough to ensure they sit around your ears and not on them. A lot of plastic involved but they feel durable.
The high-impedance makes these hungry for power so consider carefully how you plan to power these. I found out not powering these correctly will diminish sound quality...view more
Headphones for life
These are by far the best headphones I have tried and owned. While there is less bass than your traditional headphones used to achieve more balance between the mid-range and treble-range. The HD600s make up for it in the large and wide sound stage that these headphones create. Because of the focus on balance, I was able to easily spot sounds and even instruments that I couldn't even hear in other headphones. In comparison to my Sony WH-1000XM3 and WH-1000XM5, they pale in comparison to the HD600s. While they have more bass they simply can reach the same sound quality that the HD600s can. Brilliant Sound
I'm not an audiophile but I can tell that these headphones are truly brilliant.
I first heard of them while watching the WAN Show on Linus Tech Tips channel on YouTube so I thought I'll give them a go since Linus swears by them.
It is expensive but they live up to the price. They are open back so don't expect noise cancelling but that's not the point of the design.
You should definitely consider these headphones.
