Bought this one because of the big 4amp power supply. Been running multiple external Hard drives on a Linux system and haven't had a single problem. Transfer speed is good. The J5create USB 3.0 -7 Port High Performance Mini HUB is excellent value for money in enabling further USB connectivity for those with lots of fixed peripherals.
Multi port (x7), simple to mount on the side of a monitor stand with valcroe tape, thus allowing the outgoing connections to face downward, this to reduce messy 'in-place' cabling issues. With one output facing outward at the end of the HUB allows for easy access for incidental flash drives etc. No downside issues ! This is an excellent buy as its effective, clean and simple design, easy to mount on desk or monitor stand and keeps all the unseemly USB cables neatly out of the way. This used to connect a limited 3xUSB port laptop to an array peripherals... Perfect....
