My new laptop doesn't have enough USB ports, so I bought this. I haven't used the power function of it, but have been using to connect webcam, mouse dongle and USB headset. This hub is generally good value and I'm happy with it for the price. I bought this for a Raspberry Pi and the big problem here is that it backpowers the main connected device so it's quite problematic for me.
