I got two of these 64gb flash drives just for general data storage, the general read/write speed is quite good and without lagging, will get more if needed. A good design, the best I've used. The connector is protected by the casing when not in use. You slide it out when needed, which makes the unit very compact, and provides a protected place by the slider-button on which to write a label with a fine-tipped pen. And it has a slot at the end through which a fine ribbon can be threaded to hang it round your neck. A good design, the best I've used. The connector is protected by the casing when not in use. The flash drive works as it should so far after a couple of weeks, but I find the sliding mechanism a bit annoying when trying to plug the drive in. It doesn't seem to lock in the extended position firmly enough, so the casing slides forward as I try to insert the drive into a USB port. Not a deal breaker, just a small irritation. Otherwise, a lot of storage capacity at a low cost. A previous review led me to buy a couple of these. Read speeds good, write not so much. They will suffice but am a little disappointed.
