The drive is both USB 3 and USB 2 capable and has the capability to hide the USB plug making it smaller in size. Positive.
The main disadvantage is that it has no easily read markings on it, only the name Apacer. It has some vert tiny writing on the tongue which has the model and size. I managed to read this after I got my magnifying glass out. How hard to put 64GB in big letters after the name on the case. In my case this is a negative.

It works just fine. And very reasonably priced. I was particularly impressed with the speed of the response from PBTech - I bought it on line after hours (on Saturday evening) and it was ready to collect (Click & Collect) perhaps 35 minutes after the store opened the following morning. Had read the reviews advising the challenges of the slide mechanism but thought surely it couldn't be that big a hassle. Well it is if you transfer the drive regularly between devices which I do. The slide is on the underside and in some configurations it's not that simple to keep your finger on the slide to hold it in place as you push it in the USB slot. Would definitely buy a different Apacer model next time such as the swivel design at exactly the same money.
