It works, it gets hot because it's fully metal and compact if you're looking for a tiny flash drive that's type-C and type-A, this could be an option. I’m so pleased with the performance of this drive. I’m consistently getting 80MB/sec sustained writes, which only starts to slow after 10+ GB written at once. The Flashdrive has been really good thus far. It's good that I can use it on any machine regardless of its USB port.
The only downside is that because this is an all-metal device, it gets hot to the touch if you have been transferring a lot of files or the laptop/computer transfers its internal heat into the USB ports.
