small compact works great even looks like a part of the head unit.. was thinking of 128gig version but no point really.. plus my head unit only supports 128 at max. otherwise accepts folders so its not so messy...

I have it plugged into my RaspberryPi. To remove it, it has a small ridge that you can get a finger-nail into, because that's just how tiny this drive is. I bought this for the compact size, this sits in the front USB port of my Denon AV receiver and I have all my music stored on it. When I wrote the files to the drive I noticed very good write speeds, compared to cheaper units. This usb works very fast at a small form factor, it barely sticks out compared to other usbs. The only bad thing in my opinion is that it produces a little bit of heat when you are moving a big file. I'm using this on a router and it's super snappy! Large file copy operations are quick and it fits easily inside the routers USB port while not protruding too much. Great little device! Copying mp3s to this thing and I'm consistently getting well below 10MB/s. There is an initial burst up to 20MB/s but it tapers off very quickly to around 2MB/s. There is no way this is getting anywhere near the advertised 130MB/s 'in ideal circumstances'. 32GB version is only slightly less awful, achieving 12MB/s while copying the same data.
Sandisk USB drives are consistently bad in my experience. They run very hot and either slow down a lot, or outright stop working momentarily while copying fiels.
