LG 34WR50QK 34" WQHD Curved Ultrawide Monitor

I love this monitor and I am very happy with it. I must say though that it would have been most helpful if just a 1 pager was added for instructions.
It took my a couple of hours to find the buttons at the bottom in order to sort the screens out. Not everyone is computer literate and up to speed with new technology.

Good work screen .

I didn't realise that it didn't have speakers and spent like an hour figuring out why there was no sound coming out. Has a working head phone jack though. Good work screen .

I bought this for work and gaming. 100hz is plenty, the only thing is that my poor rx6600 struggles with 1440p but the colours are rich and its very clear.

Bought the monitor primarily for home office setup. I've been using for almost 2 weeks and have had no problems so far. This has been my first curved monitor purchased and there has been no adjustment needed for me coming from using a flat monitor. I've also tried to hook it up for use with casual gaming. There's a setting for the monitor to have a non-ultrawide resolution so that it behaves like a regular monitor, and this is per port (e.g., ultrawide when using HDMI port 1, regular when using HDMI port 2), so it's nice so you don't run into display setting problems for games that don't support ultrawide resolutions. I have been using 2 24" monitors next to each other for the past 10 years and decided it's time to upgrade. I had heard good things about ultrawide monitors, so I bought this model a few days ago, and I have to say it's gone above my expectations. The amount of apps I can display at once is incredible, and the gaming experience is next level.

Although it may be advertised as a business ultrawide, like a staff member at PBTech informed me, it still plays AAA games perfectly well. It may only be 100hz but if that doesn't bother you then this is the perfect monitor for an excellent price.

Perhaps if you're a hardcore gamer then this monitor may not have all the features you'd need, however it does everything you'd expect for an entry level ultrawide monitor.

I bought this monitor to replace an older monitor and got a lot more for my money than I expected. The curved monitor easily displays 2 full screens and eliminates time-wasting switching back and forth between monitors and apps.
