Bought the Huawei Watch GT2 on special and very happy with the watch. It's very light, and very comfortable. The watch strap could be bigger. I have big wrists. Think it's designed for elvish wrists but still does up ok and may look at seeing if I can get a new watch strap for it.

I seem fixated with the sleep analysis function and heart rate. Battery life is very good and I would say will last a couple of weeks, although I haven't really got into my fitness yet so I can see that reducing greatly once I start using the GPS daily.

Bit clunky on the logic - kind of typical for Huawei - makes it not that appealing to try and work out the 'features'.
Some pretty neat faces available but more informative ones would be great. The font is so small on some, can barely read the details. Looking forward to new ones...

I've had half a dozen smart watches from Samsung, Huawei, Pebble etc and nothing has come close to the battery life and features of the GT2! Heaps of sensors to give you plenty of data and the gui is easy to use. There was a little mucking about getting the software to work on my phone but all easy after that. I really enjoy my new SmartWatch, really pretty and with so many features, much more than other smartwatches at the same price range. On the other hand the software you need to manage it fall short. It requests two apps: Huawei Health and Huawei Mobile Service. The problem is the first one depends on a higher version of the version available of the second one in App Store. The only option available is installing the right version of HMS app, is by the Huawei App Store and it implicates that you need to install an app from outside Google/Apple App Store what it is not a simple task for most people, not to say that it is not safe too. Another problem is because it uses its own OS, the Huawei Watch GT does not integrate with any other app that can connect with smartwatches, except yours. Once you accept that, it is a great smartwatch.

The watch works well in regards to most aspects how ever a seemingly inability to auto pause during workouts means that the average time/speed is not accurate to workout time or speed, this means I am requiring a secondary device to monitor my actual stats. If there was/is an option to reconfigure this this watch would be possibly the best value for money watch available and would have got a 5 star, . Hopefully the regular updates will resolve this. All other aspects work very well using with Galaxy phone.
