I lost my $8 mouse I bought in Japan and had to spend $ for this one. I didn't think you could go wrong with one but turns out I was wrong. I can't use it anywhere because it drives everyone around me, myself included, insane from the constant loud clicking. I find myself just using my laptop mousepad to avoid the glares...It like someone is cutting their nails with a toenail clipper... It's hard to get too excited about a mouse but when I had to replace my old USB one recently, buying a wireless mouse seemed a sensible option. Installation was no big deal and it worked first time. Full of good intentions, I intended to turn it off each evening to save the drain on the single AA battery which was supplied with it but I forgot! Then I decided to deliberately not turn it off to see how long the battery lasted. Well, here we are 3 weeks later with no sign of fade at all. When the OEM battery does eventually die, I'll replace it with one of the rechargable AA batteries I have laying about.
